Arlin Yazzie, a Diné (Navajo) Woman, is the President and CEO of KinSurety, LLC, a Native Woman-owned small business committed to enhancing the economic vitality and strength of tribal nations by supporting federal, state and local governments and select non-profit agencies. She is Tobacco Red Running into the Water People Clan and was born for the Salt People Clan. Her maternal grandfather is from the Chiricahua Apache People Clan, and her paternal grandfather is from the Red House People Clan.
Arlin brings 14 years of technical and management experience leading programs and mentoring teams on the use of technologies. From her humble beginnings, she has quickly risen to executive leadership roles and provides organizational and technical expertise to KinSurety. Much of her focus has been on technologies assisting students applying to college. For example, she has advised technologists as a liaison for the City of San Antonio’s ten school districts and has led a mentoring program for Native Forward while also supporting the National Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition.
Arlin’s subject matter expertise resides in the areas of innovative information technology solutions, cybersecurity, software development, training, data analytics/machine learning, business intelligence, financial management as well as program management. She is particularly gifted in mentoring and inspiring others that share her passion in these technology focus areas. Arlin values reciprocity in giving back to her community to help elevate the next generation and is passionate about her support for nonprofit organizations that also support this philosophy.
